The Ghost Pony Gallery is a
recent addition to the rich and diverse art scene on the High Road to Taos. A
hand-built adobe nestled in the old village of Las Truchas on the Nuestra Seņora del Rosario, San Fernando y Santiago del Rio de las Truchas Land Grant houses the gallery and studios of Trish Booth and Leonardo Pieterse.
Open year-round, the gallery hosts exhibitions of talented artists locally and from across the country as well as participating in the world renowned High Road Art Tour held during the last two weekends in September each year.
Ghost Pony Gallery recently moved to its permanent location at 1634 State Road 76 in Truchas, just a half-mile more convenient for visitors. Join us each Second Sunday through October for The Truchas Art Experience, a special reception with plein-aire painting, demonstrations, and fresh, new exhibitions. Treasures of Northern New Mexico, our current exhibition, features the stunning photography of Richard Hasbrouck. Richard turns a sharp eye and lens to the landscape and details of life in Northern New Mexico. Meet Richard and gallery artists Trish Booth and Leonardo Pieterse at the August 10th reception, 1pm to 4pm at the gallery.
